This Wednesday in photography, our class took a little field trip to the Arboretum to take pictures of wild flowers......Mostly everyone in our class took pictures of the same flowers, but I tried to be creative.


I think this first picture is my favorite. I really like the contrast between the beautiful, natural, pure flower and the harsh, colorful concrete and graffiti in the background.



I really love the shadows in this picture from the little parts in the center that stick up (I don't know what they're called) 


This picture is one of my favorites because of the shadows that the flower is making on its own petals because of the sun in the back. The petals are super thin and delicate. Pretty pretty :)

  1. I love the bottom blue flower-mybe try cutting off that top limb and leaving the image a centered composition. The flowers against the graffitti is also a nice concept-contrast!
