I tried doing some shots with slower shutter speed to make the water look smooth, but my camera doesn't have adjustable shutter speed, so I set it to the fireworks setting, but it was taking in waaaay to much light, and just getting super washed out. I moved inside and tried to limit the amount of light, but then it was too dark...so i got a flashlight. The photos still didn't turn out...so it kinda was a fail...but a good learning experience I suppose.
Kinda cliche, but here's a rose, covered in water. I think the way the droplets form and just stay there is really neat. I like the shallow depth of field and the natural light from the window.
My mom has a system of little hoses that water her hanging baskets of flowers in the summer. I turned them on and took pictures of the pretty flowers. Kinda looks silly because the water is raining down, but it's sunny outside.
To take these next pictures I dropped a ring into a glass of water to try to capture the splash. I got a few good shots....but there were little bubbles in the water that wouldn't go away and made it look.....fuzzy. It was bothersome, but I think overall, they turned out alright.
Yup.....this is water.
the rose looks like the water is frozen onto it, makes it look really cool
